one of the easiest most beautiful creatures to photograph, I started to make use of the 90mm macro at this point.

I agree with your artist comment and frogs are cute, it's a really nice photo. :) Was it too dark or why did you chose such a high ISO speed?

i didnt have my tipod with me at the time, and yes there was limited sunlight as it was later in the afternoon. But despite the high ISO there is very limited noise. I'm glad you liked it.

Okay, with limited light and without tripod it's normal and I agree, there is just a little noise for such a high ISO. I would say photos of my Canon EOS 400D would look grainy with 1600 and the Nikon works better. My ex-girlfriend had the Nikon D40X in it was better for close up photos.

mmm yeah i would agree, with better equipment the photo would have entered another level. No I'm quite happy with the way in turned out considering im extremely new to this.
